I had dinner at Mazamigos with my young family, the staff were so helpful and super friendly and bubbly. The kids were occupied with coloring in for the short wait on our meals. The children menu is great my 7 year old loved making her own fajitas and great portion sizing. I had the baked wrap which was delicious! hot and fresh... the salsa and guacamole were so fresh and tasty I could have just eaten a plate of it on its own! We will be regulars at Mazamigos the outside area is perfect for over summer cant wait to go back!

A good friend and I went to this restaurant yesterday, we had heard a few mixed reviews and were unsure what to expect. However we were very pleasantly surprised!
The food was sensational, the staff we lovely and extremely helpful, and the serving sizes were very generous. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant, I'll definitely be back!
Thankyou for such a lovely evening

yummy! love great mexican after a long day surfing, mazamigo is the spot to go with all your friends! we had a table of 30 for a friends birthday, the food and the vibe was awesome i nearly had to be rolled home i ate so much! yummy!

Review by: Las Olas Restaurant

Las Olas Fresh Mex Grill is Australia's number one Californian-style Mexican take away franchise. It combines traditional Mexican flavour with the distinctive Californian flair. Las Olas' food is fresh, healthy, flavoursome and made to order.

When it comes to Mexican food, Las Olas has it going on. We understand what Californian-style Mexican food is because the creator of the recipes grew up in California. Michael Baker lived in California most of his life and recognised the need for this style of food on a surfing trip to Australia. He opened the first Las Olas store in the small town of Torquay, Victoria, in 2001. Now with business partner Achalen Holmes, Las Olas is rapidly expanding across Australia. To learn how you can be a part of Las Olas, go to our Business Opportunity page.

Michael's firm belief that there is nothing better than a 'big tasty burrito' after a surf continues to this day. Healthy food for lunch and dinner is the only way to go. Every Las Olas product on the menu uses the freshest ingredients. As Las Olas makes its food on site everyday, it has the ability to control the freshness and health aspect of the food. Check out the Dietary Information page.

Salsa, guacamole, enchilada sauce, taco shells, even the corn chips used in our nachos are all produced in our Las Olas stores everyday. Visit the Menu page to have a look at all of our items and feel free to phone ahead to save time.

The name 'Las Olas' may not be easy for some to say, but our fresh, healthy and flavoursome food is easy for everyone to enjoy.

My experience at Tapas Cafe was absolutely fabulous. Food was superb. Coffee was out of this world. As soon as you walk in you feel happy there. The staff are lovely and well the owner is such a hottie! BEST CAFE EVER HIGHLY RECCOMEND 10/10 YUM YUM

We would definitely NOT recommend this cafe. We had the 'Barramundi Special' for lunch and spent the following 24 hours with the WORST food poisoning you can imagine. If you value your health or are pregnant, stay away from Tapas Cafe & Bar.

Food arrived in a reasonable time. Tasty and well presented. Coffee is good also. Nice atmosphere.

I live locally and have eaten fish and chips from here for more than a year now. I always have the flat head, the batter is always crispy and golden. The chips are always good. Service takes a while because everything is made to order. We telephone our order through now, so that we don't have to wait around for too long.
The staff are generally pretty young and I am impressed by how professional and friendly they are. I have always been greeted in a friendly manner. The last time I was there a little girl asked for some paper to draw on and the person behind the counter was happy to provide her with it.
I have tried other fish and chips shops in the Torquay region with the exception of one that has recently opened. I have found the batter to be soggy and dislike the fact that some of these fish and chip shops don't skin the fish and I have also had bones in the fish. So I will stick with Flipplin Fresh and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We had Flake and Chips on Good Friday! The fish was thick and juicy and you could tell it was fresh :) I forgot how nice the chips were- thick cut, crunchy, and not oily. I would definitely recommend- especially taking it down the beach to watch the waves!

The food was amazing! Whole family ate. One had the "bells" burger = so delicious. Better than the burger competition around torquay. The patty and the tomato relish! Yum!
The flake was so tasty and crispy. Chips, yeah they could have been better. But the dimmys. Heaven.
Will be visiting very frequently from now on!

BEST FISH AND CHIPS EVER!!! Everything is crispy and golden and fresh! I've never had crispy dim sims before and i can never go back after having the delicious ones from here! Seriously yummy!

Best kept local secret away from the crowds on the esplanade. Love the flathead tails and chips and their homemade hamburgers (nothing from the freezer here). Eat inside or in the garden and enjoy the peace.

I ordered the Lentil Soup which was sensational with spinach garnish and a really good quality olive oil. The flavors were superb with the tastiest gluten free bread. What a great local cafe :)

Stumbled across this cute cafe for lunch while on holidays, great set-up, lovely alfresco dining area out the front with a "beachy" feel. Appears the cafe is currently undergoing some changes to the outdoor areas and the menu (according to staff). Staff were friendly and meals were served in good time. I had a lentil burger served with salad, which was delicious. A great find in Torquay.

went there over summer very very busy cafe, very fast service and staff were so friendly.
there were 17 of us, they accomodated us right away we ordered basically the whole menu breakfasts seafood fettuchini, burgers, was the best food ive eaten in a while....
the kids were not really hungry however they whipped up a kids menu to suit us.
will def go back... best place in torquay. best coffee...

Great Japanese food! And what a find, we keep going back here time and time again. Food is always amazing. Highly recommend the Crispy Shrimp In Wasabi Mayo, great sushi, edamame.... Love the Japanese salad dressings you can buy to use at home. Only wish they were open for dinner more regularly.

Such an unassuming place hidden in the Surf City courtyard gianted by the big surf brands but that hasn't stopped them producing tasty & fresh menu & takeaway options. Really delicious & great value for $$

I love this place. The food is always excellent and the staff are very friendly.
The Katsu Curry is perfect!
